KEYNOTE:  An Evolving Mission: Applying O&M Best Practices for AV/IT Planning 
Paul Zielie, manager of Enterprise Solutions for Harman Professional
In his keynote, Zielie will explore the evolution of the AV application in the enterprise from a focus on standalone highly customized integration to the current focus on huddle and multi-use spaces, and operational challenges brought about by the AV/IT convergence.
 
Drawing from operations and maintenance (O&M) best practices developed by IT, Zielie will discuss how these lessons-learned can be adapted and applied to the modern AV/IT practice to increase efficiency, user satisfaction and enable teams to adapt to a changing mission.
 
Zielie is the manager of Enterprise Solutions for Harman Professional, a leading manufacturer of control and automation, system-wide switching and audio/video signal distribution, as well as digital signage and technology management. His primary responsibilities are solving the integration issues of enterprise wide AV integration including, security, scalability and maintainability.
 
Prior to joining Harman in 2013. Zielie was a principal engineer for Lockheed Martin working primarily in Unified Communications and Network Video Transport. He was the recipient of the 2015 InfoComm International, Educator of the Year.
