Executive Vice President of Content Distribution & Strategic Partnerships - Turner
 
Jennifer Mirgorod is executive vice president of content distribution and strategic partnerships for Turner Content Distribution (TCD), the domestic distribution and marketing arm of Turner.  In this capacity, she leads the account management, marketing and business development teams on all aspects of content distribution, including a charge to expand content distribution opportunities and develop new business models. Her broader role within the division includes oversight of strategic partnerships between TCD and Turner’s portfolio of brands, where she serves as the conduit between TCD and each of the business leads to create cohesive content strategies with aligned communication across Turner. Mirgorod is based in Atlanta and reports to Rich Warren, president of Turner Content Distribution.
 
               A seasoned cable veteran, Mirgorod most recently served as executive vice president of brand distribution for TCD. Before that, she was senior vice president of brand revenue and account management, also for TCD. She held previous posts for TCD as senior vice president of sales and marketing and vice president of strategic marketing where she worked in tandem with the TCD sales force, Turner networks marketing and operations and partnership marketing to help set the tactical direction for TCD marketing and advertising sales initiatives. Mirgorod joined TCD in 2003 from Turner Entertainment Networks in Hong Kong where, as senior vice president, regional entertainment advertising sales and off-channel commerce, she was responsible for advertising and licensing revenue generations for Turner Broadcasting’s Asian cable and satellite channels, including Cartoon Network, cartoonnetwork.com, HBO India and China Entertainment TV (CETV).  In this capacity, she managed a 46-person sales team across Australia, India, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Philippines.
 
Mirgorod was recently recognized by Multichannel News as a “2018 Wonder Woman” and for the last several years consecutively, by Cablefax Magazine as one of “Most Powerful Women in Cable”. She was also named as the national “Woman To Watch” by WICT in 2014 and as the “Woman To Watch” in 2013 by WICT’s Southeast chapter. She is a former board member of the Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) Southeast Chapter, was a member of Class XVII of WICT’s Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, and participated in the inaugural class of the WICT Senior Executive Summit at Stanford Business School in 2013. At Turner, Mirgorod is the Executive Sponsor of Turner Asia, a company-wide business resource group aimed at leveraging the talents of Asian Pacific American employees throughout the company. Outside of work, she serves on the board of Covenant House Georgia, one of the only organizations in Atlanta to provide shelter, support and training for the city’s homeless youth. Mirgorod received a BA degree in Foreign Affairs from The University of Virginia.   
 
Turner Content Distribution (TCD) is responsible for the distribution and marketing of Turner’s 10 domestic cable networks – TBS, CNN, HLN, TNT, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, CNN International, CNN en Español, Boomerang and truTV – to all traditional and emerging distribution partners throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
